The safety and health of all of its members is foremost with the association and they constantly try to achieve a high standard, in particular in regard to police properties. Every employer has a duty to consult with its employees about health, safety and welfare matters that affect them at work; the focus is on proactive risk assessment and management. The preferred position of the association is for the election of Health and Safety reps (HSR's) in all Commands Sections, and locations across the state, to assist in the resolution of WH&S issues.
